Water is the Key to Soft Hair
Recently, I updated my daily hair care regimen and started spraying my hair with water before adding shea butter and castor oil to seal in the moisture. I realized a few months ago that when I put shea butter on my dry hair, it wasn't as soft as I wanted it to be. By adding water first, my hair stayed soft and moisturized all day.
Remember to moisturize your hair twice a day. Also, make sure you wrap your hair with a silk or satin scarf before you go to bed, because cotton is the ENEMY!

how do you wrap your hair without it being mushed in the morning?
ReplyDeleteWell, I don't sleep without twisting my hair or braiding it. So, in the morning, all I do is un-twist/un-braid my hair and fluff it and it isn't mushed anymore.
